Twin VELUX skylights with blinds
Two fixed VELUX skylights with high-performance double glazing were installed in this Harrison living room, with timber frames built and plaster shafts constructed and insulated with Bradford wall insulation for a neat, thermally efficient finish. Given the living room location, translucent blinds were fitted to give the homeowner control over light levels throughout the day while maintaining the bright, airy feel that skylights deliver.

Ceiling insulation top-up
This Jerrabomberra home had existing ceiling insulation that had compressed and lost effectiveness over time. Just Rite installed Bradford R5 ceiling insulation batts using our cross-hatching method, laid over the existing insulation for up to 23% better thermal performance. Any gaps in the existing insulation were identified and filled as part of the job, leaving the ceiling space neat, complete, and performing at its best.
Ceiling insulation upgrade
This Ngunnawal home received a full ceiling insulation upgrade using R5 Bradford Gold batts, laid in the traditional method between ceiling joists to bring the home up to the current minimum standard for ceiling insulation.
