Up to 25% of heat is lost through poorly insulated walls, making wall insulation a highly effective way to improve comfort and reduce energy costs. Using our certified blow-in insulation system, we pump insulation directly into existing wall cavities via small access holes drilled through the mortar.
The holes are then filled and colour-matched for a seamless finish, with minimal disruption to your home. Just Rite pioneered this retrofit cavity wall insulation process in Australia in the mid-1990s.

Insulation is rated by its R-value, which measures how effectively the material slows heat transfer. The higher the R-value, the better the insulation. The National Construction Code sets minimum R-values for ceilings, walls, and floors based on your location.

Ceiling insulation top-up
This Jerrabomberra home had existing ceiling insulation that had compressed and lost effectiveness over time. Just Rite installed Bradford R5 ceiling insulation batts using our cross-hatching method, laid over the existing insulation for up to 23% better thermal performance. Any gaps in the existing insulation were identified and filled as part of the job, leaving the ceiling space neat, complete, and performing at its best.
Ceiling insulation upgrade
This Ngunnawal home received a full ceiling insulation upgrade using R5 Bradford Gold batts, laid in the traditional method between ceiling joists to bring the home up to the current minimum standard for ceiling insulation. This typically involves upgrading the switchboard to meet current standards, replacing lighting with IC-4 rated fixtures, and installing draft stoppers to reduce airflow through the ceiling space. The inspection can be carried out by our licensed electricians or your own.
