New ACT Rental Standards
The Australian Capital Territory now requires all rental properties to have ceiling insulation with a minimum R-value of R5. This applies to properties with no insulation or insulation below R2.

Understanding Your EER Report
An Energy Efficiency Rating (EER) Report includes the R-value of your property’s insulation. If you purchased your property after 1997, you recieved an EER report as part of the sale contract.
